Grateful Muslimah - Earth
I've been busy with school and I have not really been thinking much about marriage. Then, a man asked for my hand, and at first I was not very interested but after meeting him and getting to know more about him, I realized that he had all of the qualities I want in a husband. I prayed istikhara multiple times, and I asked Allah to give me what is best. SubhanAllah I was planning to yes, but things did not work out. Although I am a little sad, I am also grateful because I trust Allah's plans more than my own feelings and Allah knows better than I, what is best. Being with this man is not what is best for me, and inshAllah Allah has someone better in store for me. AHL.

Safi - Trinidad & Tobago
Today's quote from one of my lecturers at university,"I adore Muslims; their commitment to their faith. I have seen taxi drivers pray at 6 o'clock in front of their vehicle with passengers still inside. I know that my religion has too much pride for that." I know I sometimes forget the profound effect our actions, big or small, have on non-Muslims, SubhanAllah! It gave my iman an instant boost. What a great reminder of the power and importance of salah. For such a simple illustration of the beauty of Islam, AHL!

Hiba - Chicago, Illinois, USA
Last week, I tried out for my school's Qur'an Competition. I had studied a lot, and I made du'aa to Allah (SWT) to help me. I recited the surah, but made far too many mistakes, and I was sure that I wouldn't make it in the competition. That night, I prayed to Allah (SWT) for His help, and the next day, my teacher said I made it in! AHL!

Smiley - Train and all over
Today, I was running late to school and ended up missing my first class. The trains were all running late and it was cramped. But subhanallah everything is for a reason. I ended up bumping into dear people I don't usually see who put huge smiles on my face. They may not know it, but they're in my thoughts and duaas. I saw someone do a righteous deed that influenced me to do the same. Now, every time I perform that deed, I remember that person and make duaa for that person and wish them the best. It sure was an eventful morning.
Then I made it to my next class. In a weeks or so I will have 4 exams in a row. In college, once exams are scheduled, you can't make them up. I asked my professor if I can take my exam earlier and she was nice enough to let me! I was then productive with my time later in the day. I then held a successful meeting in which inshallah I can help change the world. On the way home, someone asked me advice on being positive instead of negative in which I hope I helped them achieve. At the end of the night, I sat, reflected, and remembered the all Powerful, Merciful, and the Loving... Allah. All in a day, alhamdililah for every moment. AHL.
